How to Play DrawRush

Enter Your Name

On the home screen, type your player name (max 18 characters). No account or email needed. Your name is saved in your browser for next time!

Choose How to Play

• Play Now! — Join a public room instantly. Up to 100 players compete together. AI bots fill empty spots.
• Create Private Room — Start a private room, then share the link with friends.
• Join Private Room — Paste a room code to join a friend's private game.

Your Drawing Turn

When it's your turn, you'll see 3 secret word choices. Pick one quickly — you have 15 seconds to choose, or the first word is auto-selected.

Once chosen, you have 60 seconds to draw the word on the canvas using your mouse or touch screen.

Drawing Tools

• Brush Tool: Draw freely with adjustable brush size (2px – 30px)
• Paint Bucket: Fill enclosed areas with your selected color
• Color Palette: 8 colors available
• Undo: Remove your last stroke
• Clear: Wipe the entire canvas

Drawing Guide Card

As the artist, a small floating Drawing Guide Card appears on your canvas showing the word's emoji and a helpful drawing tip. Only you can see it!

Type Your Guess

When you're not drawing, type your guesses in the chat box. Press Enter or click Send. Guesses are checked automatically — no need to say "I guess...".

Hint Reveal System

The word is shown as blanks (e.g. _ _ _ _ _) for guessers:

• At 30 seconds remaining → first letter of each word revealed
• At 15 seconds remaining → last letter of each word also revealed

"So Close!" Feedback

If your guess is only 1 or 2 letters off, you'll get a private "So close!" notification. Keep trying!

Guesser Points

Correct guessers earn 100–500 points based on how fast they guess. The faster you guess, the more you score!

Artist Points

The artist earns 15 bonus points for every player who correctly guesses their drawing. Draw clearly to earn more!

Score Reset Each Round

Scores reset to 0 at the start of every new round. Each round is a fresh competition — no advantage from previous rounds. Elimination is based purely on your current round's performance!

Elimination

At the end of each round, the bottom 15 players by score are eliminated from the tournament. Eliminated players can still spectate and chat.

Final Round & Winner

In the final round, every surviving player gets one drawing turn. The player with the highest score at the end wins the Battle Royale! 🏆

Choose Your Avatar

Express yourself! Swipe through the Avatar Picker Carousel next to the Name input on the landing page to select a fun identity emoji (like sleepy pandas, monkeys, or tigers). Your choice is saved in your browser cache and displays in the lobby, active leaderboard, and chat!

Earn Coins & Unlock Items

Earn coins by playing and winning tournament matches, then spend them in the Cosmetic Unlock Shop to acquire mythic name borders and premium avatars!

• 🏆 Victory Royale — Earn +500 coins by placing 1st in a tournament
• 🎯 Correct Guess — Earn +15 coins for every correct guess
• 📺 Watch Sponsored Spotlight — Click the 🎥 Free Coins button inside the shop to watch a simulated ad and earn +25 coins (up to 3 times a day!)

Prestige yourself! Equip beautiful animated borders to make your name shine on the live leaderboard:

• ⚡ Neon Glow Border — 3000 coins
• ⭐ Golden Sparkle Border — 5000 coins
• 🌈 Rainbow Magic Border — 10000 coins

Emoji Reaction Storms

Hype up the room! Click the glassmorphic Emoji Reactions dock floating in the bottom-right corner of the canvas to launch active floating reactions (😂, 🔥, 💩, ❓, 😮, 👏) that soar across the screen in real-time for all guessers, spectators, and artists!
